Eligibility and deadlines
Ambassador eligibility
The SCAD Alumni Atelier ambassadorship is open to SCAD graduates pursuing creative practice with a focus on entrepreneurship. Ambassadors in Atlanta focus on the literary arts. Ambassadors in Lacoste and Savannah focus on creating new collections and product lines, establishing a business, or building a brand.
Applicants must have an undergraduate or graduate degree from SCAD, completed at least one year prior to the application deadline. Alumni are not eligible to apply if they are current SCAD students or faculty, staff, or board or council members. Alumni who have a relationship with any current or former faculty, staff, or board or council members must state that relationship. These individuals cannot be used as references and are not permitted to serve on the selection committee. Previous SCAD Alumni Atelier ambassadors may not reapply.
Associate eligibility
The SCAD Alumni Atelier associateship is open to SCAD graduates pursuing creative practice with a focus on engagement with the SCAD community. While creating, ideating, or brand building, associates reconnect with faculty, serve as student mentors, and engage with staff in admission, communications, and career and alumni success.
Applicants must have an undergraduate or graduate degree from SCAD. Alumni are not eligible to apply if they are current SCAD students or faculty, staff, or board or council members. Alumni who have a relationship with any current or former faculty, staff, or board or council members must state that relationship. These individuals cannot be used as references and are not permitted to serve on the selection committee. SCAD Alumni Atelier associates remain eligible to apply for ambassadorships.
Submission requirements
Submit an inquiry for more information and a brief description of your proposed project online. You may then be invited to submit a formal proposal dossier.
